How to Easily Make a Cute DIY Square Farmhouse Table
Today, we'll show you how we made a DIY square farmhouse table. This coffee table is simple to make and doesn't require lots of equipment or skills. Let us show you what we did, step by step.
1. Glue boards together
We started off with four boards that were the same size. We glued them together using wood clamps. You can also choose to screw them together to accomplish the same thing.
2. Add the end pieces
We added the first set of the end pieces. They had 45-degree angles cut at the tip of the small board right before it.
3. Glue the final pieces
Lastly, we glued the final two pieces on. These also had 45-degree angles and so they fit together perfectly.
4. Make the table base
The table base was basically just a handful of 2x4s connected to the table legs with some screws.
5. Connect the top to the base
We connected the top to the base using wood screws.
Tip: we stained and painted the pieces first before we connected the two pieces together. It's so much easier to stain and paint the pieces, and then connect them.
6. Paint the table
We used white chalk paint for the base and legs, and a nice gray stain for the tabletop.

We put the new table in a common area and added some nice seating. We loved how it turned out! What do you think?

Should have included photo's of the apron with Kreg Screw openings to let your viewers know how it was attached.. simply using screws won't make a stable strong table
