Create your own wall decoration and try your hand at hand lettering! With our embroidery hoops and black, white and kraft hand lettering paper, you can create real eye-catchers this autumn. Use pencil, coloured pens and markers to write inspiring quotes for autumn. Colour them in with the Koi colour brush pens in atmospheric autumn shades such as orange, red and brown. Clamping the paper into the hoops enables you to create your very own round wall frames that will engulf any room in autumn vibes.

Place the hoops on the paper and use them to trace around the outer perimeter in pencil.

Place the hoops on the paper and use them to trace around the outer perimeter in pencil.

Paint the hoops black with Home Decor chalk paint and leave to dry thoroughly.

Write a quote on the white paper in pencil. Use guide lines if needed to help distribute the text evenly over the paper.

Take the Koi Sakura pens in orange, red and brown for the word ‘autumn’. Hand letter using the lightest colour first, followed by the other colours.

Hand letter ‘is a second’ using the black Sakura Koi pen, and use the yellow, green and aqua for the word ‘spring’.

Carefully rub out the pencil lines and cut out the paper using a circle cutter, knife or scissors. Next, place the paper on the inner hoop and carefully fold over along the edges. Moisten the paper slightly on the reverse if needed.

On the black paper, hand letter ‘It’s pumpkin time!’ with the Kelly Creates moonlight marker. Draw a pumpkin on the small circle.

Clamp the black hand lettering paper into the embroidery hoops also.

Hand letter another great autumn quote on the kraft paper using the Fudensuke pen. Clamp this paper, too.

How does the paper stay in the hoop? I'm not real sure how to "clamp" the paper and what part do you moisten and why? so little confused 😕, but like these. Thanks!
