Hey folks, so on an expedition to buy a project piece, we found this cute glider for sale. Since the price was right, and it seemed in perfect condition, we bought it to use at home.

After about a week or so....OOPS! The rubber webbing had rotted and after being used awhile, it all broke. 😑

I love Amazon! I went online, ordered some webbing and some clips (after looking at the broken ones).

I measured the chair to check the spacing, and measured the broken straps as well.

I then cut the strapping to the right lengths.

I put the clip into the table vice.

Making sure to pay attention to the direction.

I carefully inserted the webbing as close to being centered as I could.

Then I tightened the vice as tight as it would go. I followed the procedure for the other end and the remaining straps. Making sure my clips faced the same direction.

I then laced them and popped the clips into the slots on the chair! Woohoo! This was a first for me, and I am sitting in the chair as I type this post. ☺️☺️

May decide to update the cushions next! 🤷‍♀️☺️
