A fun way to brighten up your home! DIY Flower Bottles made from bottles you'd get from milk or your favorite frappe drink.

Aren't these just adorable? And you don't particularly need a lot of skill or materials to make them. As a matter of fact, you can use pretty much any bottles you'd like to create these. They'll still come out beautiful!

What you'll need

  • Bottles
  • Chalk paint
  • Painters tape
  • Paint brush
  • Twine

Step 1

Tape designs on your bottles. I went with simple wrap around lines - you can certainly get crazy here and cut different designs, do zig-zags, or whatever you want!

Step 2

Paint the bottles with your choice of chalk paint. I love chalk paint because it basically sticks to anything and is easy to apply in one or two coats.

Step 3

Peel the tape off, allow the paint to dry and then wrap the twin around the top of the bottle to create a little more visual appeal.

I also added glass stones to the bottom of my bottles. I thought they looked nice and added a layer of intrigue.

Step 5

Finally, fill your vases with water and add flowers!

It's that easy to make these little flower vases out of some old bottles and a little bit of paint.
