Make this whimsical Christmas wreath with yarn pom poms, felt, and ribbon. It's a gingerbread inspired winter scene that will delight guests who come to your front door this holiday season.

There are several charming elements to the whimsical gingerbread Christmas wreath that need to be made before it can all be assembled. First up: ribbon trees made with candy cane striped ribbon. You could use green too, of course, if you didn't want the wreath to look like a gingerbread scene.

You'll also need a ton of white yarn pom poms. They're so easy to make with these inexpensive pom pom makers!

The little gingerbread house at the center of the pom pom wreath is made out of foam core for the basic house shape, and is covered in brown felt, then decorated with pom pom and ribbon "candy" and white felt "icing."

All the look of a gingerbread wreath, but without providing a tempting treat for the birds.

Glue the house and trees in place, then use a hot glue gun to glue pom poms to cover the wreath shape.

Could this gingerbread themed Christmas wreath be any sweeter?
