I picked out this tray recently as I went out thrift shopping. I had no idea what I would use it for, only that it would not be for baking haha!

Over the next few days I began trying to figure out how to dress my table with a unique center piece. After some futile searching I realized I could repurpose my thrifted tray into a centerpiece for my coffee table.

I gave it a good wash and painted it

I then placed the Mod Podge on the surface of the tray. I then placed the napkin on the tray. I did not apply any additional mod podge to it's surface. The result was that the napkin beautifully soaked right through.

This was a quick and simple repurposing project that gave me a lot of joy

I love the look it gives my home over any ordinary tray I could have bought.

Most of all I L .

What cost $100?! I did a tray successfully using a pretty piece of wallpaper, & didn't have to decoupage, so took couple minutes.

What product was used to clean up the handles?
