I incorporated my blue and white transferware collection into my holiday decor and I created this beautiful plate wreath!

I started with my collection of blue transferware. I had several different patterns and it adds the blue and white I wanted to add to my holiday decor this year.

I wanted a secure way to hang the plates that wouldn't break the bank. I found these removable adhesive strips from Hyper Tough. They will hold up to 5 pounds so I knew they would hold an individual plate.

Next, I arranged the plates on the floor to decide the best placement. I wanted to make sure I liked it before I started hanging the plates.

When I had the arrangement I wanted, I added an adhesive strip to the back of each plate.

Next, I began hanging the plates on the wall one by one making adjustments as I went.

Using different sizes, shapes and patterns made it interesting. I added a second layer using smaller plates for depth. On some of the larger plates and platters, I doubled up on adhesive strips for security.

I also made a bow for the center from some velvet wired ribbon.

I think it will translate throughout the holiday season! It definitely makes a beautiful statement!

Since the tape is so sticky....are you afraid of all the tape residue that will be left on your wall after Christmas....especially if you have painted Sheetrock walls. It would be easier to clean off wooden walls, I imagine.
