Snowmen Christmas Ornaments

If you have a junk drawer you have what you need to make snowmen ornaments. These little guys are made out of checkers, poker chips, ball jar lids and rings, and even cooler stuff!

This little guy is made out of a sewing machine bobbin and a checker. You will never guess what the hat is made from.

I gathered stuff from my junk drawer and our workshop/garage/tool shed.

Next I layed out the pieces I thought would make cute snowmen and spray painted them white.....front and back.

The pieces are all lightweight so I put them together using hot glue.

I have a great tip for using hot glue. You know that stuff is really really hot! I grab a popsicle stick, toothpick, or tweezers to press the hot glue and the two surfaces together. I


I've burnt my fingertips so many times I don't think I have any prints left. This little trick is genius if I do say so myself.

I made a whole flock of snowmen. This project takes no time at all and it's a great kids craft too.

    THAT is a fun idea! Most people have a junk drawer or someplace in the garage that houses left over bits and pieces. Repurposing them into tree ornaments is brilliant!

Next
