If you enjoy the scents of the holiday season, you will love our holiday room spray recipes. Our basic recipe allows you to customize with your favourite holiday scent. We have recipes for candy cane, gingerbread, sugar cookie, eggnog, cedar spice and Christmas tree room spray. Bring the festive aroma of the holiday season into every room of your home with these easy-to-make Christmas room sprays!

Our room spray recipe is intentionally simple and includes easily accessible ingredients - vodka, distilled water, essential oils and a natural solubilizer, which is optional. (Check out our blog post to find out more about the solubilizer we used).

Our basic room spray recipe can be customized using some our our favourite essential oils for use during the holidays:

  • peppermint
  • tonka bean
  • cedarwood
  • sweet orange
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla oleoresin

You can also check out our blog post for a festive collection of holiday essential oil blends.

Simply add one of the blends to our basic room spray recipe to create your favourite holiday scent.

For dispensing your room sprays, you will need a spray bottle. We used these gorgeous amber bottles with gold lids.

They're perfect as the dark amber glass will help protect your essential oils from UV light.

And because theyr'e so pretty, they're also perfect if you want to gift your holiday room sprays! Simply add a pretty bow.

Our basic room Christmas holiday spray recipe is very simple.

First, pour your vodka into a mason jar using a funnel.

Next, add your favourite essential oil blend. You can also add a solubilizer, if desired. A solubilizer will keep the essential oils dispersed in the mixture.

Remember to check out our blog post for our festive collection of holiday essential oil blends and to get the exact measurements.

Put the lid on your mason jar and shake it well. You want to be sure the essential oils are incorporated well into the vodka.

Then, add the distilled water and shake the mixture again.

Use a funnel to transfer your spray to spray bottles of your choice.

We have been really loving the sugar cookie Christmas room spray lately! It smells like warm holiday cookies and it's perfect for the holiday season.
