These adorable glitter snowflake soaps are so cute and so easy to make. This is a great soap project for a beginner because you only a few ingredients. The snowflakes make great gifts for friends and or keep them for yourself.

This soap is very easy to make. You'll need:

1 pound white melt and pour soap

10-20 drops essential oils (use 10 if kids are using it)

1 tablespoon white and blue body safe glitter

You'll also need this cute snowflake mold, a glass measuring cup, measuring spoons, and a spoon. Use a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to pop the soap bubbles after you pour.

Start by cutting the soap into 1 inch cubes. Then microwave it on high 30 seconds at a time until it's melted.

When it's melted, add the essential oil and the glitter. Stir well.

Melt and pour soap can bubble after you pour it. Put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to spray the top. It pops the bubbles and then evaporates.

Pour the soap into the snowflake soap mold. Then let it cool for 24 hours. Unmold them and you can use them right away.

If kids will be using these soaps, make sure that you use a kid safe essential oil blend. I've used frankincense and sweet orange for these soaps.

You can use these soaps as hand soaps or in the bath or shower. I don't like using melt and pour for a face soap though.
