When Christmas starts sneaking up on us, I always find myself wanting to do all kinds of handmade Christmas ornaments. They are just so fun to make!

This DIY gift ornament is a fun and inexpensive Christmas craft made using supplies from the Dollar Tree.

To make each ornament you will need:

  • 3 Tumbling Tower Blocks or Mini Jenga Blocks
  • White paint
  • Ribbon
  • Silver styrofoam balls (optional)
  • 1 Eyelet screw
  • Twine

Plus these tools that you likely have in your craft supplies:

  • glue gun
  • marker
  • paint brush

NOTE: We used blocks from the Dollar Tree's Tumbling Tower Game for this project. However, you could use actual Jenga blocks, Jenga Mini blocks, or any other wooden pieces you can get your hands on for this project instead if you have trouble finding them.

Start by gluing 3 blocks together with hot glue gun.

Next, paint blocks white.

Then add detail with black marker.

Add ribbon and glue in place. Add sliver balls in the center or other embellishments, if desired.

Attach eyelet screw in the top of the ornament and add a loop of twine.

Hang your gift ornament on your tree and enjoy!

Or gift to a loved one as a beautiful homemade holiday gift.
