Christmas Triple Wreath
I've always loved the look of those triple wreaths I've seen in the expensive catalogs. So I finally decided to make one of my own.
And it was ridiculously easy.
I started by digging out three old faux evergreen wreaths I had in the basement. They were tattered, but with a bit of fluffing they were good as new.
I love upcycling old items for Christmas...like gift bags!
If you have old faux wreaths that need help, you can add additional picks, like pinecones or apples to spruce them up.
This tutorial would also work with real evergreen wreaths.
The triple wreath is constructed by connecting the three wreaths to one another, vertically, with loops of ribbon. So simple.
You can use any kind of ribbon you like, but honestly, wired ribbon works best. It's strong and straight and hold up well, year after year.
I picked one that would go well with my simple and rustic Christmas decor.
To connect the wreaths, just cut a length of ribbon, loop it around two wreaths, tie a strong knot and hide it in the back. Then repeat to connect the other two.
Add one more loop on top as a hanger and voila!
When you're done, you will have the most elegant and unique front door decor in the neighborhood!
