We had an old panel door and thought why not cut it in half and make a corner shelf out of it!
Here is the door we started with.
Cut in half and then painted a country white and distressed. Only the left side is distressed in this photo. We then attached the two halves together using long screws.
Using a ruler to make the spacing uniform, we pre-drilled holes to attach the shelves.
Love this Jacobean stain. The shelves were cut in triangle shapes to fit in the “corners”.
From the backside, we attached the shelves.
Shelves attached and don’t you think they look fabulous! We added the middle shelf just below the hole where the handle went. You can use it to put your charger cords through or maybe even Christmas lights! You could also add hooks to hang hats or hang a hook from the underside of the middle shelf to hang your purse from! The possibilities are endless!
We did this to two doors. Here is just a picture of them back to back! They turned out better than we thought!

Great way to repurpose a couple of old doors. Something that could also be used on a porch to showcase plants. LOVE IT.

Wow, I have seen several "off sized" doors advertised for free or next to nothing. This is a great way to repurpose them!
