How to Make Winter Felt Trees

I love little felt trees that you can leave up after the Holidays for the rest of the Winter. They are cheap to make and you only need a few things to create these little cuties. Grab some felt, twigs and your glue gun and create some of these rustic trees yourself.
To make cute rustic trees that bring natural elements to your winter decor, you will need to grab some felt, twigs and wood slices.
Each tree will require 5-6 cutouts. To easily trace the Evergreen pattern, fold a piece of felt in half, lay the Evergreen template on top and run the side of a piece of chalk around the template. Cut out the pieces until you get enough to make your trees.
To assemble the trees, glue the edges of two cutouts together.
Continue to glue edges together until you get an accordion of felt pieces.
When you have the edges of 5-6 cutouts glued together, glue a twig to the centre of the bunch. Add some glue to the twig and glue the centre of each piece to the twig. Close up the tree by gluing the last two edges together.
Add a little snow and texture to the trees using chalk.
Finish off your trees by adding a wood slice base. To fasten the trees securely, drill a small hold in the centre of the wood slice and insert the twig in the hole.
How cute are these little trees? And I love that I can leave them all up all Winter long!
