Dollar Store Ice Coffee Flower Box
I love using recycled items and who doesn’t like iced coffee? I got to drink the coffee and make a cute vase and wooden flower box for my Spring display. Win win! Let’s get started.
You will need some fence boards to make the box. You will need two 9" long boards as well as two 3" long boards.
Next, I used a thin piece of wood to cover the bottom and nailed it all together.
I like to keep the front with no ends showing for a cleaner front.
I then sprayed the inside and outside of the whole box.
While it dried, I worked on the inside items.
For this you will need to get these dollar store items:
3 coffee bottles
Various bunches of flowers
Twine
Glue gun
Wash all the coffee bottles and remove all of the labels.
Now wrap the twine around the tops of the bottles and glue into place with your hot glue gun.
Once the box is dry, use white paint to "dry brush" the box. You can do this by dipping the brush in a small amount of white paint and lightly dragging it across the grey box to give it a two tone look.
Cut the flowers to fit in the glass bottles.
Place the flowers in the bottles however you like.
And we are done! This great recycled project cost less than $10 to make and is super cute for Spring! You can change the flowers to suit different seasons.
Here is how I used this in my Spring display. See more at Gilbert Marketplace.

Love the way it turned out. I just happen to have an old white wooden box. No clue where it came from but I knew it had decoration in mind. Our local DG has started me of the cutest and cheap Easter decorations. You have inspired me. Making a run by DG on the way home and picking up what I need
