Sure it’s great to recycle, but why not repurpose those pasta sauce jars? Here’s a great idea to completely transform those glass jars you may have no idea what to do with.

Collect what jars you want to repurpose. Get a good chalk paint and brush.

make sure to throughly was the jar first!

Most chalk paints adhere too glass! It’s such a perfect paint to create with.

Here’s one coat. Depending on brand of paint, two coats will be needed, some cases 3. Just make make sure that the jar is fully coated and dried.

This is about the easiest way to hold the jar while painting. After painting, be sure to seal.

I used one of my favorite stamps. It added that little extra touch. Just add the color and stamp you want and add it to the jar. I chose a gray color for mine.

Now create a mould. I used a floral one for my project. Just follow the directions per the manufacturer. Dry completely then paint and seal.

Now gather all your items to put together!

Hot glue your moulds first.

Add some jutecord around the rim and tie a cute bow.

There you have it. A super cute refurbish! Use it as a vace, pencil and pen holder. Perfect for a gift! Thanks for looking, follow me on social media to stay up to date on what I’m working on. Link is posted

I really like all the different projects using silicone molds. Is there an alternative DIY for the molds? It's so terribly expensive to get the several I'd need to use to make something really look good.

    Can you use plastic jars?
