ingredients for DIY cleaning wipes

  • Paper towel roll.
  • Water proof canister (old coffee can works well)
  • Sharp knife.
  • 1 cup cleaning vinegar.
  • 1/2 cup water.
  • 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol or Everclear.
  • 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap.
  • 10 drops essential oil (optional)
Cut the paper towel roll in half.

Use a serrated knife to cut the paper towel roll in half so that it will fit into your water proof canister.

Mix the ingredients in a jar

You need to use at least 60% alcohol. If you can't find 99% rubbing alcohol then you can use Everclear from the liquor store. 151 proof is best but the 120 proof will also work.

Pour the mixture onto the paper towels.

Pour the mixture onto the paper towels and let them soak it up. Once fully saturated you can pull out the center cardboard tube.

Pull from the center of the container

To use the wipes, pull from the center of the container and pull them out. Wipe down counters, tables and even your cell phone to kill germs. Just don't use them on your face or mouth and as always- keep out of reach of small children.

Can white vinegar be used instead of cider vinegar?

Why cleaning vinegar? I would think that would be harsh used as wipes for the body. Wouldn't white vinegar be better.

I don’t see a spot for notes. So I will ad here if you buy the blue roll of paper shop towels in auto area anywhere. They work an do not shrewd like paper towels. You can clean an get tuff spots with the item not ripping apart.
