  4. Table Saw
  5. Stain
  6. Nail gun
  7. Kreg jig
  8. Drill

Steps:

1. Using a miter saw:

Cut 4 pieces 24.5 inches (for the legs)

Cut 2 pieces 27 inches (for the arms)

Cut 14 pieces 24 inches (for the side pieces and back pieces and support pieces)

2. Use the Table saw to rip down:

Rip down 6 of the 24 in pieces to 1x3's

Rip down the rest of them to 2x3’s

3. SAND ALL THESE PIECES DOWN WITH ELECTRIC SANDER.

4. Use the Kreg Jig to make pocket holes:

Two pocket holes in 7 pieces. All the 24 inch 2x3's (these will basically make the frame of the chair)

5. Assemble the side framing pieces.

6. Add in the 3 1x3 slats on each side.

7. Attach the back pieces and the front bottom piece. Then add the supports at the bottom.

Once you are done you stain it and fill in the holes with wood filler. Then you can use a satin sealer to seal it.
