How to Install a Bidet

Learn how to install a bidet onto your existing toilet seat. A bidet is a device used to help you wash your most sacred areas after you use the bathroom. This device sprays a stream of water up your fanny while you’re sitting on the toilet. Installing a bidet is simple and only takes about an hour. Read on to learn how to do it yourself!

Remove the toilet seat


Use a screwdriver to remove the seat and set it aside for later.

Place the bidet seat on the bowl


Place the bidet seat on the bowl and then put the old toilet seat on top. Line it up and screw it all together.

Turn the water supply off


Turn off the water supply and unscrew the water supply from the toilet tank.

Screw in the T Valve


Screw the t valve to the water supply and attach it back to the tank. Use a wrench to tighten it but make sure you do not over tighten.

Screw the hose into the T valve


Screw the hose from the t valve to the base of the bidet. Turn the water supply back on. Check for leaks. If there are any turn the water off and re-tighten the hoses.

Your bidet is ready to use


Your bidet is ready. Turn the dials to start the water flow
