I saw these cute mini wood fences and loved the color so I thought to make something that also had the rattan wreaths. I had some boxwood too so take a look at what I decided to do.

What you’ll need:

Mini wood picket fence

rattan wreath

boxwood (Walmart)

wire

ribbon

pencil

stain

level

I took my fence out side because I needed to cut the two long stakes that would go in the ground.

I laid my level long the fence bottoms and marked with a pencil so I could cut the stakes the same length.

Next, I cut them with a saw according to my markings.

I then used a stain to match the freshly cut edge.

Next, I took my boxwood and poked it under the wire that was on the wreath and went around covering it.

I will add a bow at the spot where I changed direction with the boxwood.

I made my bow and tied it on with twine.

Then I went though the wire on the back of the wreath with a small thin wire to tie on the fence.

It’s that simple! You now have a cute farmhouse style wall hanging.

Here it is on the wall looking so pretty and it was less then $5 to make.

I also made these herb sticks with the two stakes I cut off so no waste at all 😉

Now I can use these in my herb pots.
