Having a hard time finding unique hardware for your furniture pieces? No need to worry! Grab some plain knobs or pulls, some scrap pieces of twine, a little bit of rub and buff and you'll have gorgeous, unique hardware in no time!

From this to that in no time!

These are the pulls I purchased. They are from Lowes and were $2.98.

Materials Needed -

-Pulls

-Twine

-Hot glue gun

-Hot glue gun sticks

-Rub and Buff (not pictured)

Step One - Glue On Twine

Grab your hot glue gun and start gluing on your twine! I glue the ends of the twine to make sure it doesn't unravel.

Step Two - Add Rub + Buff

Make sure you're wearing gloves and add on some rub + buff. You don't need much of this, it spreads really well. I did scuff up the pulls before I did this, but it's not necessary.

I added rub + buff to some old knobs I was using for the pieces of furniture. Adding rub + buff is a great alternative to purchasing new hardware to spice up a piece.

Step Three - Install Pulls To Furniture

And just like that - you have unique pulls for your piece!

I love the way these turned out! Overall this only cost me the cost of the new pulls which was around $6 (I did two).
