For my craft I am using some left over plastic spoons, candle holder and a toy from the Dollar Tree. Can you believe we can make a home decor piece out of spoons and a toy? What would you say if I told you we are going to make an artichoke sculpture to style in our home? Yep…that’s what I am making and you can too with the tutorial I have below.

ARTICHOKE PETALS

Cut the spoon’s bowl off the handle. It best to cut the spoon with the handle to the right and the bowl to the left and keep the bowl in an upright position, for some reason this helps to prevent the bowl from cracking. I am right handed so reverse this if you are a left handed person.

You will need 125 cut spoon petals

ARTICHOKE BASE

Cut the football off the rocket. To cut my toy I am using my Dollar Tree hacksaw.  Making sure it is cut evenly.

SPRAY PAINT YOUR ARTICHOKE

Paint your artichoke the color of your choice
