Window Treatment Win Win
Tired of the same ole store bought window dressings?
I mounted the rod almost to the ceiling to give me room to knot & hang the length of the ribbons, knowing this treatment is not going to be moveable for the view.
I cut 2 matching pieces of ribbon exact lengths, and started from each opposite ends of the rod and looped over the rod and put one in the center also, so I knew where my center point was. By looping I mean take the ribbon with the loop on top and over the rod to the back of the rod and pull the 2 ends of the ribbon thru the loop under the rod.. always adjusting the knot of the loop straight like you would a mans tie.
I kept adding matching ribbons on each side of my center point till I liked the fullness of the valance. You can easily then trim the bottom straight or the shape you like best.

Did this with bandanas, so cute. And so easy to remove and wash...the more i washed them the better then looked.
