Dollar Tree Mop Pumpkin

I love decorating for Fall as there's so many different things you can do. In this tutorial, I made a boho style pumpkin to add to my Fall display and there's so many other ways you can decorate pumpkins. I made this one for less then $5! Check out how I did it below. Enjoy!

What you’ll need:

Mop

Foam pumpkins

Glue sticks and glue gun

White paint

Tree branch

Greens (optional)

Scissors

Take your mop and cut all the strings off.

We will glue these to the pumpkin.

Before we glue them on, I painted the pumpkin white so that the orange will not show through. One coat should be enough.

Once the paint dries, start gluing each string in a row around the pumpkin.

Make sure to glue them on tight so they don't bunch up.

Once it’s covered go back over and add some more to give it some dimension.

Now, glue a branch as your stem. For my leaves, I had some real boxwood but you can get leaves 🍁 at the store or not put them on at all. Be creative with it!

Here is my finished pumpkin. I love how it came out! See more at Gilbert Marketplace on YouTube or Facebook.

I Love this idea with the pumpkins. Where did you find the mop heads in the gray and beige. I live in Ct if that helps with a store..

    Thank you, Mary
