If you've got some of these old tart tins/baking molds laying around, this is a simple fun way to repurpose them! These cute little pumpkins are fun to add to a tablescape or anywhere in your Fall home decorating.

Gather Some Old Tart Tins or Baking Molds

You'll need 2 that match and can fit together that resemble a pumpkin shape, or a more funky shape, if you like!

Glue Tin Molds Together

Glue 2 matching tin tart molds together with E6000 or gorilla glue. If you want them weightier, you can put rice, dry beans or other filler inside before you glue. Weigh with books to dry overnight.

Paint if Desired

If you want your pumpkins to be a different color than their original silver or copper, after they're dry, paint with spray paint. Little white pumpkins are so popular, I sprayed some of mine white. You can also distress a bit with 220 grit sandpaper, if desired.

Make Stems from Old Dowels

To make Tart Tin Pumpkin stems, cut 2-3" sections of old spindles or a dowel rod. Whatever thickness fits into your tart tin middle. Sand edges smooth and paint with black or brown craft paint.

Glue Stem On

Simply glue dowel stem into place with E6000 or gorilla glue. Weigh with books to dry.

Decorate with Them!

These charming little pumpkins are so fun to scatter throughout your home decor and work into your Fall tablescapes. See how I used them for an outdoor Rustic Fall picnic centerpiece HERE.
