Don’t toss those toilet paper rolls until you see how to make this toilet paper roll pumpkin!

With the toilet paper crisis earlier this year, I’m sure you have some extra toilet paper rolls. Don’t toss them just yet! Keep reading to see how quick and easy this DIY is and you will have a house full of toilet paper roll pumpkins!

This toilet paper roll pumpkin is cheap, quick and easy to make. You probably already have everything you need right at home.

All you need is a toilet paper roll, some fabric, and a stick from your yard. Or you can use 3 cinnamon sticks tied together with jute twine!

Step 1

First, cut your fabric to the size you want. I cut mine into a 20″ x 20″ square and it worked perfect for this. If you want a thicker, bigger toilet paper roll pumpkin, cut your fabric bigger.

Step 2

Next, turn the fabric wrong side up and place the toilet paper roll in the center.

Step 3

Place some Poly-fil around the toilet paper roll. Use more for a thick and bigger pumpkin if you wish.

The more Poly-fil you use the thicker your pumpkin will be. I only used a little bit because I wanted a small sized pumpkin.

Step 4

Then, place the stick inside the hole of the toilet paper roll. My stick was a little too long so I ended up cutting a little off the end later.

Here, you can also use 3 cinnamon sticks tied together with a ribbon or jute twine. Just make sure whatever you use is thin enough to place inside the toilet paper roll and also allow the fabric to fit around the stick.

Step 5

Next, pull up the fabric from one corner and stuff down inside the toilet paper roll around the stick. Keep pulling up fabric and stuffing into the hole all the way around the pumpkin.

Step 6

After the fabric is all tucked in, wrap some jute twine around the “pumpkin stem” a few times, then tie in the front. Leave the ends to hang down a little bit.

Step 7

After tying on the jute string, use hot glue to glue some fake leaves to the jute string. I used two leaves, but feel free to use however many you want.

That's it! The toilet paper roll pumpkin is now complete and can be added to your fall decor!

You can do the same thing using a full roll of toilet paper. Saves time and super easy. If you have green floral wire or pipe Cleaner twist it around a pencil and add curly cue to stem.
