Add curb appeal to your home with these modern black address numbers. It is easy to install these numbers but you do need to follow a few guidelines.

Decide on the Size and Location of your House Number

First things first, you will want to decide how big of numbers to buy. Make sure that you can see the numbers from your street, after all that is why you have house numbers!

Then, before you take the numbers out of the package, be sure to measure against the spot you will be putting them.

Mark the spot with a pencil

Next, before you start drilling holes, you should use a pencil to mark exactly where you will be drilling. Most of the number packages come with a tracing pattern you can use to get exact placement. So do not throw away the package!

Drill your holes

After you have double checked your work, you can drill the holes.

Press the numbers into place

Lastly, press the numbers into their spots. Since the numbers will be elevated, they do not need to go in too far. But, they should be stuck in enough that they will not come out!
