In today's tutorial, I will be showing you how I turned 2 Hobby Lobby shadow boxes into these adorable little framed tiered tray signs.

Watch Video for Full Tutorial.
Step 1. Remove Hardware

  • Remove the hardware from the back of the frame.
Step 2. Paint/Stain Frame

  • I taped up the sides and painted the bottom of the frame white.
  • After the paint dried I taped up the white part and stained the rest of the frame.
Step 3. Apply Vinyl.

  • I found these cut SVG files on Design Bundles. They have inexpensive files and bundles you should check out.
  • I cut out the files using my Cricuit and used transfer paper to place the images on the frames.
Step 4. Add Sealant.

  • I applied a thin layer of Mod Podge to the entire piece to seal it and give it a more professional look.
Step 5. Add Embellishments (Optional)

  • Add any embellishments you want to these adorable signs.
  • I decided not to use any but it is your choice.
  • You could always add twine or ribbon.
The Final Project.

This little signs are just too cute. They look amazing on tiered trays but could also be used on a table or bookshelf.

If you want to hang them on a tree simple add a piece of twine to the back for the hanger.
