Repurpose the little ones’ toys to create these DIY toothbrush holders. Brushing your teeth has never been so much fun! Kids will definitely love this!

What You Need for this Project

Tools

  • File
  • Primer for plastics
  • Spray paint
  • Drill & drill bits

Materials

  • Toy dinosaurs (or any similar toys)
DRILL THE HOLES IN THE DINOSAURS

File the part where you will drill and drill the necessary holes to later place the toothbrushes.

Use a drill bit of the same diameter as the handle of your brushes.

Now drill the other toy. You can also drill more than a hole in one toy, but I chose to drill one hole each.

APPLY SEVERAL THIN COATS OF PRIMER FOR PLASTIC

Spray several thin coats of primer from about 30cm distance away.

Let dry 10 minutes between coats.

SPRAY PAINT THE TOY DINOSAURS

Spray paint the dinosaurs in the color you like best. Let dry for the time recommended by the paint manufacturer.

IT IS FINISHED!

What do you think of this DIY project? Will you be trying it out? Let me know what you think in the comments below!

ps/ You can skip the spray painting altogether if you like how the toy holder originally looks. But if your kid is bored of the toy, I figure a fresh coat of paint will spice things up!
