Our entryway needed a little added organization. Since we love the board and batten look, we decided to make a whole grid style wall and managed to keep it under $100!
First, we screwed the horizontal boards into the studs.
Then, we affixed the vertical boards to the walls with liquid nails.
We caulked all of the trim.
And puttied the joints.
Sanded and painted the whole thing with plain white semi-gloss paint.
Having four kids, we added a lot of hooks, including several at kid-friendly heights so that they can hang up their own coats and backpacks. Check out the original post at Seven Town Way for more details!
