For those of you who are tired of spot cleaning (or worse- dry cleaning) an oriental rug under the dining table, why not go with a floorcloth? Do you have to tape it down? what about sweeping it off....do the corners start to curl?

Larger floorcloths used under tables or other furniture do not need to be secured to the floor. I use a very heavy canvas. A finished 8' x 8' floorcloth from Canvasworks will weigh about 40 lbs.! It lies nice and flat with no warping edges or turned up corners.
