:) Guess three 100 degree days and me not checking their size for 4 days will do the trick...sigh..I water regularly and don't let the "hills" dry out completely ever. (They prob were not ripe as other melon I picked was not ripe when cut open...sigh...) Hey, at least they're producing and I haven't had pest or mildew issues.

It sounds like you're doing exactly the right things, Dusti. Sometimes these things just happen no matter what precautions we take.
