Oh that's sad! I would never make my hubby give something away like that. Even it was hideous! If you remember where it was you got it, I'd take pictures of it after you've refinished it and send him a copy letting him know it's being cherished in it's new home.

Let us know when it is complete........thats a lucky find,yet sad at same time but at least it didnt go to the trash pile right........look at it as it will be saved instead :)
