Captain Burnette

Kim Taylor
by Kim Taylor
I painted the table and chairs to reflect the colors of the plane my Dad flew. He passed away last fall.
I wood burned the words all aboard and the name of his plane. I painted the logo
Just a different view.
I found this shelf at a local thrift store, my brother painted that.
His passion was flying. I think i captured that here
After it was painted, I used a soft wax and distressed the wood.

I love what you did for the tribute to your Dad. He would be well pleased with it. I especially love the shelf that appears to be a replica of a Vintage Bi-Plane. That is so great. The entire vignette is just a wonderful idea.
