French Country Farmhouse Desk

I re-did a friends dresser for her daughter's room. In return, she gave me this sweet french country desk (win-win!). I decided to strip the top and paint the bottom to give it some farmhouse charm.
Here is the before pic. A great Lane desk and love the details. The top had been poorly stained before and was different colors.
Here is the after. It really has tons of charm.
After I stripped the top, these lovely pine boards appeared. I left them bare, without staining them, and applied Howard's Feed n Wax. So beautiful!
The back of this desk is as beautifully finished as the front with the detailing going all round.
I added these green ceramic pulls which give the piece a new look.
General Finishes Milk Paint in Antique White was used on the bottom. It pairs well with the top.
