Pantry renovation

The bathroom off my kitchen seemed like a fine idea when we built it. Originally it housed our laundry, a toilet and a sink. But over time, as the laundry started to creep into the kitchen, we moved the washer and dryer to the back hall.
In its place I installed some ready made cabinets for extra storage. But between my guests always wondering why I was coming out of the bathroom with their wine glasses and the kids using the bathroom while we were eating dinner at the island, we realized this wasn't the right spot for a half bath either.
So the pantry was born. I didn't know storage could make me so happy!

Phase One.
Hiding the radiator while still getting the full effect of the heat!
Finished! The stainless counters mirror my kitchen counters and I had my custom cabinet color (eggnog) matched at Home Depot to tie the two spaces together.
The radiator still gives off plenty of heat yet the items above it stay cool.
Stainless countertops were practical and affordable. The carpenter made them from 3/4"mdf and the sheet metal company wrapped them for me.
I'm in love!
