I have a garage full of wood mostly re-cycled from stuff people and friends give me to what ever my husband brings me home from his work to also stuff that I find on the side of the road left out for the trash man... Yes I know.. I'm one of those gals that can't pass up free wood left on the side of the road LOL! and it just keeps piling up and piling up so I thought that I would start using some of it and I decided to make a Sofa/Hall table.... I saw a picture of one that I liked in My World of Products catalog and wanted to make one like it so here is what i did..
Finished Product Painted and Stained...I had the Wood, Stain, Paint, Screws and Glue. The only thing I had to buy was extra sand paper cause I needed it and The decorative design on the front which cost $5.00 and a little elbow grease:)
My inspirational picture from my World of Products Catalog cost on this was $99.00
Some of the scrap pallet wood I used to create the scrolled design for the skirt of the table
The decorative piece fits just nice with the design
The legs I used for a template on my table
The legs that I cut out from scrap pieces of 2x6
The Salvaged reclaimed wood floor I used for the top
Table all put together made from all recycled wood..Top was made from Wood Floor..Sides and Shelf Made from Scrap Pallet wood and legs made from scrap pieces of 2x6.Read the full tutorial here: http://tcdesigns1968.blogspot.com/2012/07/table-made-from-re-cycled-wood.html
