Fall Decor: DIY Frosted Pumpkin Vase

How to transform trash into fall treasure in just a few simple steps. ating
This project entails a few supplies. The most important one might be hanging out in your recycling bin: a glass apple juice bottle! You'll also need masking tape, Design Masters "Tint It" spray paint in mango, green multi-surface craft paint (I used DecoArt Multi Surface Paint in Grass), an X-Acto Knife, twine and hot glue.
Soak the bottle in warm water to loosen the labels. Next, use the masking tape to protect the leaves and neck of the bottle from the spray paint.
After the entire area is covered with the tape, use an X-Acto Knife to cut around leaf shapes.
Prepare a good area to spray paint and apply the Tint It paint in smooth strokes. Note: this paint is not like typical spray paint since it has a frosty effect. It may take a few coats to get the color you want.
Next, carefully remove the masking tape and paint the leaves green. I used DecoArt Multi Surface Paint in Grass.
After the leaves are dry, add the twine. Start by adding a dot of hot glue and wrapping the twine around the neck of the bottle. Continue around the neck of the bottle, adding dabs of glue and wrapping tightly.
Then it's the fun part... add some fresh flowers!
Happy Fall!
