My Little Road Side Make Over

Dana Dykema
by Dana Dykema
So I am driving along, as usual, keeping an eye out for treasures on the roadside and lo and behold I see one! I can already hear my husband saying "no" so I clench my jaw and keep driving. But later on in the day I take the scenic route home to see if she is still there. She was. OK, so it's meant to be. Stop. Load up. I'm happy.
I take my time deciding on a color. This is the very first piece I am going to try chalk painting on. So I chose a color from my stash and made my chalk paint. I love it. I put CeCe Caldwell's wax all over it. This table came with glass for the top so I wasn't worries about the top being damaged. The buyer loved it and so do I. I called her...Annabelle.

I never seem to get lucky enough to see such treasures by the sides of the road. Maybe I am just driving on the wrong roads? Nice job!
