My wife and I repurposed some old furniture into this amazing bench for our living room.
We had an old dresser down in our basement needing some TLC
Next we cut it in half. Using the top part as our bench. The bottom part will also become a bench.
Next we used the head board posts to make the legs and the head board for the back of our bench.
We gave it some primer and a fresh coat of paint. We went with Woodrow Wilson White. Sold at Lowe's Home Improvement.
We purchased some accent pillows from Pier One and new decorative knobs from Lowe's for the drawers.

Also to those that do not think it looks to be very comfortable, I don't think it was made to sit in while you watch T.V. It is a bench. Great to have at your front door or mud room. In the picture it looks like there are shoes around the area so I am guessing that is what it is being used for, as most benches are.
