DIY Bathroom Makeover

I just finished the makeover of our upstairs bathroom, and I am thrilled with how it turned out. Since it was a makeover not a renovation, we left all the large features of the bathroom intact but gave it all a new look. Lots of DIY projects in this reveal!
New paint and stain and shower and window curtains that I made myself make the room look custom.
This is what the bathroom looked like when we bought the house two years ago. Good bones, but dated finishes.
What more can I say about that paint color other than it had to go!
It is amazing what a difference the darker stain and mirror frame made to the room.
The mirror framing project was easy to do and it makes the room look polished!
I couldn't find cabinet hardware I liked that I could afford, so I made my own!
The shower curtain and faux roman shade were DIY projects too. And if a novice sewer like me can make them, you can too!

How did you do the mirror? That's what I'm thinking of doing...also the knobs are really nice. How did you make those? Your bathroom looks GREAT!!!

Those are moldings you can buy at Home Depot and cut to size and put around.. it’s so simple

Did you replace or redo the actual counter? I love the new look.
