I found this vintage life guard chair and thought, ohhhh what to do!
Vintage Life Guard Chair
Took a pine board, cut it to size and painted my signature parrot on it.
His name is Simon. He is very regal and inquisitive. Thought he would make a great back drop for our Pool Side Mini Bar.
Made a tray from an old picture. Added some vintage drawer pulls and a wedge on the underneath side so the tray stood straight. Found 6 of these teal wine glasses at our local thrift store.
Created this "Island Time' sign with some board and chain and the end of a 1960's belt.
Added a towel holder and matching bar towel. Patina'd the metal.
Made a bottle holder out of the step and found these crystal cantors at the flea market.
Mounted a bottle opener to the side for those Coronas!
and.....viola! Not only a great functional space, but what a conversation piece! This is going to be auctioned off at The Flagler County Art League to raise money. Going to a great cause! Bidding starts at $850
