Bucket Planter

I had not posted this bucket planter that Honey built for me last month because of aesthetics. I had not painted the fence when he put it together so I thought to ugly for a beautiful page like this. Well, painted then 113 weather in Oklahoma has been around for awhile now taking it's toll on all our flower gardens and landscape in general. Then I thought about it and this is also an informative site and not everything we do starts out looking like it came out of a magazine. My picture will give you an idea of how to build. They show that you can use all shapes and sizes for the look to want to achieve. It will also show you what our flowers look like during an oppressive summer, scorched. Doesn't matter if you miracle grow every two weeks and water twice a day. Sometimes it is what it is.
I used all different shapes and sizes
Drive your r-bar into the ground approx. 2 ft and then slide your post over the r-bar.
Drill holes in different places to achieve the angle you are looking for.
Drill a hole in the bottom at the angle you want them to sit.
When we had them set in the places we wanted, we drilled a hole in the bucket and used a sheet metal screw to secure them to the pole.

How do you get it from sliding down? What stabilizes them put? I love this and I had clipped a bit back and been wanting to ask you this. So pretty.

@Anna Ibarra Hi Anna! This bucket planter post was one of my first that I shared but I've learned a lot since:) I decided to go back and look at the post and added photos that would better explain what we did! Check out the three pictures that I added and I think it will better explain how the bucket pole goes together. If you have anymore questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Tina

Thank you for the tutorial! I've seen several other posts about similar planters, but none explained so clearly how to make them. It's appreciated!
