A third generation family cottage before and after

This cute cottage had been in my clients family for a few generations. She wanted to update it for her family. The living room was very dark and cavelike. Painting the pine walls and floor opened everything up. We reused a good amount of her treasures, the wicker was painted and reupholstered.

    The lighting doesn't do it justice, I can tell. I bet it's beautiful but because of the lighting in the photographs, I honestly thought the "after" was the before
