Sharron W, I have to rephrase my worm growing. I don't just throw things on top of the soil, I take a shovel and make the Florida sandbox ground quite rich with the compost. I don't just dump it on top of the ground as that would invite bad bugs.

@Susan, Now that's a good way to do it....although I'm always afraid of disturbing the roots of my plants so I just use my compost bins....although.....I AM currently composting some seperate in a container just because it was all that good Muscadine hulls and I really want the high acid for my hydranga bed and azalyas....
