What is wrong with my Camelia???

Angela A
by Angela A
The variety is a Camelia Japonica, but I do not remember what type, other than pink in color.... It gets a moderate amount of sun, not too much, and definitely not the hottest sun of the day. I use Osmocote on it. It's about 3 years old and was a 3 gallon when planted. It has one or two buds only on it.... :-(.... Any ideas??? It came from a very reputable nursery....I'd hate to have to transplant it, but I will if I have too in order to save it....

Becky H, I checked the plants & I will be proactive this year and use a systemic before I have the usual deformed flowers. Douglas, as usual, is correct. In Florida we usually must do spraying very early or very late in the day.
