Bathroom Storage From Vintage Crates

To add a touch of repurposed fun to our rental bathroom, we turned some cool vintage crates found at an antique shop into shelves.
We used a couple of corner braces to secure them to the wall. A pack of four braces was about $6 at a big box store. We went with galvanized metal to keep things looking rustic.
It was super easy and adds lots of character -- and since our bathroom is short on space, it's a great way to keep things like Q-tipps and cotton balls close at hand.
A favorite junk shop of mine had loads of crates to choose from. We opted for sturdy crates with the best vintage graphics, like this one for grapes.
Bathroom before :( So long, sad towel bar.

Where do you hang your towels and how well does the wood stand up to a damp bathroom? Thanks

You will come to realise that recycling could actually be fun and does not need to be boring and dull when you produce beautiful results such as this. Storage is highly necessary in the bathrooms with so many toiletries and linen to be stored in there. Therefore, having additional storage spaces on the walls such as these used crates is one really practical idea to implement.
