Giving Thanks Rocks!

I wanted a fun way as a family to share what we are thankful for during the month of November. Chalkboard rocks were the answer!
My daughter collected the rocks, mostly flat ones or ones with a flat surface. Two quick coats of chalkboard spray paint and we are ready to share what we are thankful for.
I added a tag mad form an old book cover. I cut this out with an exacto knife, drill a hole for some twine, and hand lettered the "Give Thanks" in craft paint.
I put the rock in an old wooden microscope box I had. A crate would be cute too, or a metal bucket.
As we write on the rocks, we leave a few scattered around so we cn be sure to see them.
This makes a perfect coffee table centerpiece for the month and is a great way to share our blessings!
