DIY Night Lights to Match My Little Sister's Room

My little sister is getting too old for a traditional night light, but she still wants some sort of lighting security at night. I found these stick anywhere lights from Mr Beams that come on with motion and turn off after 30 seconds. I think they are perfect for her. If she has a bad dream and wakes up, the light should detect her movement and turn on, but it will also turn off, helping her get used to sleeping with a light off. The lights only come in white though, which gets a little boring so I added some chalk paint to liven them up.
This is how I painted the light:

1. Make sure you have all of the necessary materials: chalk paint, paint brush, water, paper towels, and painter's tape.

2. Apply painter's tape to the led light and the motion sensor. It is extremely important that you completely cover the sensors, or damage could be done to the light.

3. Paint with even strokes. If you want a more solid look, paint a second coat.

4. Let dry for 1-2 hours.

5. After fully drying, remove the tape from the light gently
This is how my light came out. She is very happy with the color!
