Family Food Garden
by Family Food Garden
I've been growing potatoes for 6 years now and I’ve had the time and space to dabble in different methods of growing them. In this post I compare these four different growing methods: in deep containers (pallet), in burlap bags, in the ground, and using the hilled up soil technique.
Which method gives the highest yields of potatoes? Find out the pros and cons of these 4 methods:
Potatoes being grown in deep containers (diy pallet project listed too!)
Potatoes growing in burlap bags
Potatoes being grown using the 'hill up the soil' method
Potatoes grown via the 'in the ground' method

Is this method of adding dirt to produce more good for only potatoes or could it be used for other roots too? (Carrots, beets, onions, garlic)
